Change is Constant

When the photograph above was taken, I had no idea how the course of what had been my life for almost 15 years was going to alter. I'd hiked up to the top of the mountain above the Berthoud Pass parking lot one day in mid May, and was about to enjoy a nice long run on my snowboard in some of Colorado's best backcountry powder. I’d recently started talking to a high school crush I’d lost touch with decades ago, and I was literally on top of the world.

Flash forward to almost 3 years later, and I find myself married to that same sweetheart, living in a beautiful home of our own in the mountains of North Georgia. What had become a lonely existence is now one surrounded by love and family, along with a herd of cats and a dog. I can totally relate to the saying of the days being long and the years going fast.

None of us can truly ever say where the winding road of life will take us. The current cultural changes taking place are a perfect example. However, it is safe to say that having an effective online presence is going to be increasingly essential for the way we interact in any marketplace, be that local or global.
